To Larchmont-Mamaroneck Baseball Players Ages 16-17 (as of 4/30/24):
We are gearing up already for the 2024 travel season. Winter Workouts serve as the tryouts for the summer Wildcats Travel Showcase teams. The workouts will be held at a nearby baseball training facility. LMLL has secured the entire facility for these sessions.
Winter Workouts: These workouts are open to all high school aged players regardless of intention to play summer travel with LMLL or any other organization. Players use these workouts to prepare for High School baseball tryouts and spring season.
SUMMER WILDCATS TRAVEL BASEBALL PROGRAM: The Wildcats Teams will be a high level of competition for players who aspire to play college baseball or wish to train and play at that level. The teams’ focus will be on exposure to tournaments as well as GHVBL league play. Players interested in participating will be evaluated during the Winter Workouts and selected by the team’s pro coaches/trainers to the HS Showcase teams.
Winter Workouts – Travel and Showcase TRYOUT: A key part of being prepared to play travel baseball is the training, dedication, and hard work. Travel baseball moves at a much faster rate than players will see at the rec baseball level, so a higher level of training is necessary to be successful. These sessions are for our pro trainers and coaches to assess skill and place players on appropriate teams.
The new premier facility offers the following:
- Indoor training space fully covered by turf
- Offense and defense training areas
- Strength and Agility room
- Dedicated pitching space with multiple mounds/backstops
IMPORTANT: Only LMLL registered players, coaches, instructors, and officials are permitted on the active turf covered area within the facility.
The coaches, pros and trainers will work with the players on specific areas of the game to advance the players’ ability. Covering pitching, catching, infield/outfield, base running and hitting will all be covered by specialists in these disciplines to focus on pushing players toward their full potential.
Showcase Winter Workouts/Tryouts registration deadline is Thursday December 7th; after that, registrations may not be accepted. The program cost for all sessions is $225 (plus a ~3.5% processing fee) to be paid at the time of registration by credit card or ACH bank transfer; no partial subscription is available. NO PLAYER MAY ATTEND WITHOUT A REGISTRATION.
How to register? Players must register in advance for Winter Workouts/ Tryouts through our SportsEngine platform by going to the 2024 Travel Baseball Players registration. If you already have a SportsEngine account (for example, from registering for LMLL last year, or for another local sports league), use that account. If not, you will be prompted to create an account as well as your player profile(s) as part of the registration process. Whoever creates your account and registers your player(s) will be the only person (or at least the only account) that can register them in the future. Additional adults can be added to the account, but they won’t be able to register players (see Adding Parents/Guardians in SportsEngine for more information). All players who have not played with LMLL before must satisfy LMLL eligibility requirements.
All dates on SUNDAYS from 2:30PM to 4PM. These sessions will start with a player meeting and discussion followed by training and assessments.

Summer travel will begin in June and runs through early August. There will also be a fall season of travel baseball.
Level of player commitment: Playing on an LM Wildcats travel team is a commitment that must be made and followed by every player. Players chosen to join an LMLL travel team commit to participate in all practices and games. Players are NOT permitted to play for another baseball team in the same season outside of our organization. Players who play other sports or participate in other activities also commit to making LMLL Travel their first priority. Last year we saw numerous teams shorthanded in the summer season due to last minute family trips/etc. If you want to play travel with LMLL you must commit to being available FOR ALL PRACTICES/GAMES/TOURNAMENTS from season start to the end of the PLAYOFFS. If you do plan a summer vacation, please plan it for sometime between August 6th and August 25th when the summer travel season is finished and before the fall travel season begins. We know emergencies come up so we ask you communicate any conflicts as soon as you are aware so we can make the best decisions for the team.
