Dear LMLL families,

Due to circumstances beyond our control (rain, rain and more rain), our photo process this year has hit some snags. Over 40 teams had their photo session originally scheduled for 4/23, rained out. Then our rain makeup date scheduled for the next weekend was rained out. With all the rain, Bishop Photo has a number of leagues to reschedule and was already fully booked for the month of May.

This puts us in a tricky spot as Competitive division playoffs begin in early June, and we can’t schedule photo sessions for those teams in advance since the playoff schedule won’t be determined until shortly before.  Our plan of action is as follows:

1. All Non-Competitive team make-up photo sessions have been scheduled for Sat, June 3rd. This includes TBall, TBall Minors, Baseball Gold and Softball Gold teams which did not already have a photo session - check your team schedule. These sessions will be for team and individual photos. Note: Some teams will need to show up for pictures on non-game day as Bishop only has availability on 6/3.

2. Team photo sessions have been scheduled over the next week for Competitive teams which missed their photo session - check your team schedule. These sessions will be for team photos only, which will be taken by a local photographer or LMLL Board member. These teams will receive a digital copy of the team photo but it won’t be available for ordering through Bishop.  However, you can still have individual pictures taken by Bishop on Sat June 3 and order copies of those - see below.  

3. Individual make-up photos for any players who want them - these will also be on Sat, June 3.  We will hold general walk-up sessions at various times during the day to accommodate these requests - see below for times.

Please note - if you plan to take individual photos, we encourage you to pre-order from Bishop as soon as possible. You can place an order at www.bishopphoto.com with league code LARCHLL23NJ. This will give us an idea of the interest in individual photos and help us determine how long to keep photographers on site.  

Another important detail: Due to privacy concerns, Bishop does not have the functionality for you to view photos before ordering a package. They have advised that they offer a 100% satisfaction full-refund guarantee, and this is the way they work with all of their leagues. Given this fact, if you do plan to purchase a photo package there is no need to wait.

If your child already had their photo on April 24 taken you can download your team photo by following the instructions above, and if you took individual pictures and haven’t yet ordered any packages (or want more) you can order with the league code above.

Thanks all for your understanding with this situation. Those teams who have make-up photo sessions scheduled on game days, please arrive early so the photos can be taken in time to allow you to get to your actual game.
